Your Impact

Join the Search and Data Services team to power critical search capabilities. You will manage large, high-throughput datasets (thousands of transactions per second) and build elegant, scalable solutions that empower over 12,000 businesses.

About the role

• Work on the next generation of our large-scale search and reporting infrastructure.
• Evolve systems to scale 10x beyond current loads, including streaming data pipelines and search relevancy improvements.
• Own the full development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, and production monitoring.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Product, and Design teams.
• Provide engineering support for escalated issues to gain insights for product improvement.

About you

• Experienced Backend Engineer (Java/Kotlin) with a passion for scalable, maintainable software.
• Strong focus on production readiness, including reliability, resilience, and observability.
• Collaborative mindset with a desire to mentor others and participate in architectural discussions.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Requirement: Must be able to provide at least 4 hours of overlap with Central European working hours (US Eastern/Central time zones are ideal).
