About Honeycomb
Honeycomb is defining observability and raising expectations of what developer tools can do. We work with companies like HelloFresh, Slack, LaunchDarkly, and Vanguard across a range of industries. We've closed Series D funding, scaled past the 200-person mark, and were named to Forbes' America's Best Startups.
We are a fully distributed company, which means we believe it is not where you sit, but how you deliver that matters most. We invest in our people, value culture, and provide deep trust, autonomy, and accountability.
About the Team
Honeycomb is an observability platform that helps engineering teams understand how their software behaves in production. Our Tenant team is behind Honeycomb Private Cloud, a product that allows customers to run their own dedicated Honeycomb instance inside their cloud environment.
What You'll Do
- Own delivery of Honeycomb Private Cloud: Drive the infrastructure, tooling, and operational processes that allow enterprise customers to run Honeycomb in their own cloud environments.
- Grow the product: Partner across the business to meet ambitious sales goals and build relationships supporting growth over the coming year.
- Work at the customer boundary: Partner with Field Engineering, Support, and Sales on PoCs, security reviews, access negotiations, and contract requirements.
- Lead across the org: Private Cloud depends on many teams. Maintain tight alignment between SaaS and Private Cloud architectures and prioritize cross-cutting initiatives.
- Create developer feedback loops: Ensure tooling built for Private Cloud feeds back into our SaaS infrastructure to strengthen both platforms.
- Build and scale the team: Mentor, grow, and develop a senior, high-context team while hiring to support product expansion.

- Experience shipping and operating software in environments you don't fully control (on-prem, private cloud, BYOC, or managed single-tenant).
- Working fluency with Kubernetes and AWS to participate in design reviews, ask critical questions, and aid incident post-mortems.
- Comfort interacting directly with enterprise buyers (security reviews, access models, procurement, escalations).
- Track record of ruthless prioritization on small teams with large surface areas.
