About Jimdo
We exist to unleash the power of the self-employed—helping solopreneurs and micro-businesses thrive by doing what they're passionate about and removing the complexity of building lasting, successful businesses.
Jimdo started in 2007 when three school friends built a website builder in a Northern German farmhouse to help everyone build a presence online. Today, we're a profitable, remote-first company with 220+ people from 50+ nationalities working across 15+ countries. We've helped build over 36 million websites to get online across the world.
Role Overview
Jimdo is becoming an AI-first company, and our People team is one of the first places where that shows up in daily work. We're looking for an AI & Data Analytics Partner to build the agents, analytics, and workflow automations that make the People team faster, smarter, and easier to scale.
You'll take a process from "this is slow and manual" to a working, compliant solution in production, and then make sure the team can run and extend it without you. You'll also give leadership one reliable view of People data, so decisions rest on numbers everyone trusts.
You’ll start with the People team, and the scope can grow to any other function across Jimdo.
The Team & Who You'll Work With
You'll report to the Manager Performance Intelligence and work day-to-day with the People team and our HR Business Partners. You'll also work closely with our AI team on standards and capabilities, with Finance and Legal on data consistency and compliance, and with our HR system and payroll providers.
This is a remote role, open to candidates based in Germany, Italy, Spain, or Portugal.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build a central reporting suite in Tableau that brings data from HiBob, payroll, and compensation tools into one source of truth, with dashboards leadership actually uses.
- Own the quality and structure of People data, and use analytics to spot workforce trends, risks, and process bottlenecks.
- Find the HR processes with the most friction and fix them with AI agents and workflow automation, from first prototype to production.
- Improve self-service for employees and managers with AI tools that answer repetitive questions, allowing the People team to focus on high-impact work.
- Connect systems of record and improve data flow between HR and Finance to reduce manual reconciliation.
- Ensure solutions are auditable, explainable, and compliant, setting clear guardrails for responsible AI use.
- Run hands-on workshops, co-building sessions, and write playbooks so the team can build and maintain automations independently.
First Months Milestones
- After 3 months: You know our People systems and data flows, have agreed on the reporting scope with the People team, and your first quick-win automation is live.
- After 6 months: The central reporting suite is actively used by leadership, and at least one AI-enabled HR process runs in production.
What You Bring to the Table
- 5+ years in data analytics, AI and automation, or technical systems roles.
- 2+ years of hands-on work with LLMs, agents, prompt engineering, and workflow orchestration tools such as n8n, with solutions you've taken into production.
- A proven track record of improving business processes through automation or system redesign.
- Strong data analysis skills and expert-level Tableau experience building dashboards that translate complex data into clear recommendations. Database knowledge is a plus.
- Expert knowledge of HiBob as a user (including data and reporting) and a solid understanding of data privacy and compliance (GDPR) when handling sensitive people data.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills: ability to explain technical choices clearly and empower others to maintain built tools.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience in an HR or People Operations team.
- A certification in AI, machine learning, analytics, or automation.
- Experience working with Finance, Legal, or external HR service providers.
