Staff Product Analyst - Boulevard

About Boulevard

Boulevard provides the first and only client experience platform for appointment-based, self-care businesses. We empower our customers to give their clients more of the magical moments that matter most.

Before launching in 2016, our founders spent months interviewing salon managers and working behind front desks to understand their pain points so we could design a modern, user-friendly platform that meets the unique needs of their business. Our roots may be in hair salons, but we are built for the broader self-care industry, including many types of salons, spas, medspas, barbershops, and more.

We have an insatiable curiosity and embrace experimentation. We believe that simple solutions require the most sophistication, and we design each and every detail to maximize potential, power, and impact. Our team values and celebrates diverse backgrounds, believing in equal opportunity for all.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Staff Product Analyst to build Boulevard’s Product Intelligence function and own its core responsibilities. You’re deeply experienced in data and analytics, and you love turning complex datasets into product stories that clarify what’s happening, why it matters, and what to do next.

Boulevard is at an inflection point: we’re scaling upmarket, expanding our product surface, and making bigger bets on where the business goes next, and each one needs a trusted picture of what’s happening in the product. This is foundational work that compounds. What you build in your first year will shape how we make product decisions for the next five, and you’ll bring a team builder’s mindset, creating processes and documenting best practices so the function scales from day one.

What You'll Do

  • Build Boulevard’s product data foundation: Work across Product Development to define what we capture and how, and design models that turn raw data into clean, reliable, analysis-ready assets with data engineering.
  • Drive Product Decisions: Partner tightly with Product to turn data into recommendations that drive action, using clear narratives and visualizations suited to audiences from ICs to executives.
  • Enable Self-Service: Build self-serve dashboards that let teams explore data on their own, and help stakeholders interpret data and act on it with confidence.
  • Conduct Deep-Dive Analyses: Own analyses like funnels, retention curves, cohort behavior, and feature adoption, surfacing insights proactively to influence product direction.
  • Cross-Functional Bridge: Serve as the bridge between product data and the rest of the company so insights shape cross-functional decisions.
  • Scalable Workflows: Create team processes and analytical workflows that keep data accurate as the function grows, advocating for the tooling the team needs.

What You'll Need

  • Experience: 8+ years in data or product analytics in a B2B SaaS or high-growth tech environment, including time in early-stage or low data-maturity settings where you built foundations yourself.
  • Technical Skills: Fluency with SQL, dbt, Python, Jupyter notebooks or similar, Snowflake, and Sigma, plus strong data modeling capabilities.
  • Product Analytics: Direct experience designing and executing product instrumentation strategies.
  • Data Visualization: Expertise building dashboards and visualizations in Sigma, Looker, Tableau, or similar, with a track record of tools teams actually use.
  • Product Partnership: Significant experience working with PMs and leaders, plus deep-dive analysis across the product lifecycle (funnel diagnostics, cohort modeling, behavioral segmentation).
  • Quantitative & AI Tooling: Basic understanding of quantitative techniques like regression and logit, plus experience using Claude Code to perform analytics.
  • Communication & Ownership: Clear, confident communication with stakeholders at any level and strong project ownership end-to-end.
  • Bonus: Experience evaluating or implementing product analytics tooling such as Amplitude or Mixpanel.

Compensation & Pay Ranges

  • NYC, SF Bay Area, Seattle: $138,600 - $173,200 per year
  • All Other U.S. Locations: $120,400 - $165,600 per year
  • Variable Compensation: Role may be eligible for performance bonuses in addition to base pay.

Benefits & Support

  • Competitive base pay and performance bonus eligibility
  • Equity participation for all full-time employees
  • Comprehensive medical coverage (up to 100% employee / 75% dependent)
  • $1,200 annual HSA employer contribution for eligible plans
  • 100% covered dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
  • 12 weeks fully paid U.S. parental leave
  • Flexible paid time off + 10 U.S. company holidays
  • Fully remote workspace support ($200 home office setup + $50 monthly reimbursement)
  • $200 quarterly Boulevard Bucks for well-being
