The Opportunity

As the Principal of Business Operations for the Pro organization, you will:

• Build Operating Rhythms: Establish reviews and forums that keep the Pro organization aligned and focused on key priorities.
• Lead Cross-Functional Projects: Drive critical initiatives that span multiple teams to ensure Pro's overall success.
• Support Leadership Decision-Making: Frame complex issues, track KPIs, and surface gaps or risks early.
• Maintain Reporting Systems: Coordinate roadmaps, business reviews, and cross-team initiatives.
• Scope New Initiatives: Partner with leadership to stand up new concepts in Spot, Margin, Derivatives, or Infrastructure from ideation to execution.
• Deliver High-Impact Communications: Create executive updates, all-hands presentations, and strategic memos to provide organizational clarity.
• Manage Inbound Requests: Act as the first line of intake, triaging requests effectively and ensuring accountability.
• Optimize Operations: Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements to help the team scale efficiently.
• Leverage Data & BI: Use business intelligence to support PMs and leadership, cutting through competing priorities to find the best opportunities.
• Collaborate on Compliance & Legal: Partner with Compliance and Legal teams to improve the product experience.

What You Bring

• Experience: 5–7 years in BizOps, Product Ops, Strategy, Consulting, or similar high-leverage roles with measurable impact.
• Project Management: Strong ability to bring structure to ambiguity and drive initiatives from 0 to 1.
• Data Literacy: Comfortable interpreting dashboards, KPIs, and financial/operational metrics to drive insights.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt messages for audiences ranging from executives to individual contributors.
• Execution Focus: Highly organized, detail-driven, and biased toward action and follow-through.
• Proactive Mindset: Self-starter who can create a roadmap when none exists.
• Collaboration: Proven experience working across product, engineering, compliance, legal, finance, and marketing.
• Mission Alignment: A strong belief in Kraken’s mission to accelerate financial freedom and inclusion through crypto.
