We’re one of the fastest‑growing private companies and a leading player in a massive, fast‑moving market. With a global workforce, we’re remote‑first and grounded in a simple idea: software is a people business. Role Overview
Cribl is looking for a Senior Business Effectiveness Manager, AI to shape how a 1,000+ person, remote-first company maximizes its AI investments. You’ll lead Cribl’s approach to the business-critical knowledge AI relies on and to the use cases and solutions worth scaling company-wide. Partnering with the Sr. Manager, Business Effectiveness and leaders in every function, you’ll turn AI activity happening across the business into shared, reusable infrastructure that makes teams more effective.
Key Responsibilities
Knowledge Strategy & Governance
- Set Cribl's knowledge strategy – define with function owners which knowledge is business-critical, then build and design a single source of truth for it.
- Ensure business-critical knowledge and content stay accurate and up to date, running a regular verification cycle and holding content owners accountable for updates.
- Partner with AI tool owners so business-critical knowledge is what AI references first, regardless of tool.
- Map the context layers forming across the business and set the strategy for connecting them, partnering with Data, IT, and Engineering to build where needed.
AI Use Case & Solution Strategy
- Identify and prioritize Cribl’s top AI use cases, make them easy to find and reuse, and lead the build of universal solutions where a high-value use case has no solution yet.
- Track what’s being built across the business and scale high-value solutions into company-wide infrastructure, including the process and verification standards for a shared skills and agents registry.
- Stay ahead of the AI landscape, translating emerging capabilities – new models, tools, and agentic workflows – into Cribl’s approach.
AI Activation & Impact
- Partner on the rollout of new company-wide AI platforms, making sure they connect to Cribl’s knowledge and existing solutions.
- Mobilize experts across the business to drive AI activation at scale, including running Cribl’s AI Champions Network.
- Track AI adoption, spend, and ROI company-wide, partnering with Finance and Engineering to give leaders clear visibility into what’s working.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in operations, strategy, or knowledge management roles, ideally at a tech company, with a track record of both setting strategy and seeing it through to delivery.
- Strong systems thinker who has built the programs, processes, and governance that turn fragmented, cross-functional work into scalable infrastructure.
- Solid grasp of knowledge architecture – how information should be structured, connected, and governed so it stays accurate and builds on itself. Experience with enterprise search platforms like Glean is a plus.
- Deep, hands-on AI fluency, including building your own agents and workflows, with enough technical depth to partner credibly with Engineering, Data, and IT.
- Proven ability to drive company-wide adoption without direct authority, including building and running champion or community networks.
- Experience defining adoption and impact metrics and using data to guide decisions and priorities.
- Strong executive presence, with the ability to build strategic business cases that earn buy-in from VP and C-suite stakeholders across competing priorities.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity where the playbook doesn't exist yet, with experience in remote or distributed teams.
- Experience managing or mentoring a team is preferred but not required.
