Payward — the parent company behind Kraken, NinjaTrader, Breakout, xStocks, Payward Services, and CF Benchmarks — has spent the last 15 years building modern, globally accessible financial infrastructure to advance an open financial system. Founded in 2011, Kraken is trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions worldwide, offering spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services.
The Team
The Compliance team at Payward enables the company to grow responsibly while navigating evolving regulatory environments across jurisdictions and product lines.
The Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) Scale Team ensures the FIU can scale effectively across operating jurisdictions and products. The team leads AML transaction monitoring and blockchain monitoring to calibrate thresholds, reduce false positives, and maintain robust governance. Scale also drives process workflow automation across the FIU, working closely with external vendors, Compliance, and engineering teams.
