What You Will Be Working On / Responsible For

• Be LocalStack's visible face in the developer community: Maintain a consistent, high-cadence speaking presence at meetups, conferences, and community events in San Francisco and the broader global developer community.
• Build a regular slate of LocalStack events: Plan, host, and run LocalStack gatherings in the region, including meetups, workshops, hackathons, and developer dinners.
• Build ecosystem partnerships through co-created content: Become a known peer to regional community leaders and dev-tool companies while co-creating content, events, and webinars.
• Ship technical content developers use: Publish technical content on a regular cadence (blog posts, tutorials, videos, sample projects), contribute to product documentation, and build partner demos or reference integrations that demonstrate real developer value.

Experience We Expect You to Bring

• 5+ years of experience in Developer Advocacy, Developer Relations, Technical Evangelism, or a comparable outward-facing technical role.
• Strong hands-on experience in cloud and cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, GCP, etc.).
• Experience building meaningful external partnerships through joint events, co-published content, and webinars.
• Proven track record of serving as a bridge between product, engineering, and GTM organizations by delivering market insights and shaping product features.
• Familiarity with agentic SDLC workflows and the role of local sandboxes for AI agents.
