About Mozilla
Mozilla Corporation is the non-profit-backed technology company that has shaped the internet for the better over the last 25 years. We make pioneering brands like Firefox, the privacy-minded web browser, and Pocket, a service for keeping up with the best content online. Now, with more than 225 million people around the world using our products each month, we’re shaping the next 25 years of technology and helping to reclaim an internet built for people, not companies. Our work focuses on diverse areas including AI, social media, security, and more—while never losing focus on our core mission: to make the internet better for people.
The Mozilla Corporation is wholly owned by the non-profit 501(c) Mozilla Foundation. Along with thousands of volunteer contributors and collaborators worldwide, Mozillians design, build, and distribute open-source software that enables people to enjoy the internet on their terms.
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Mobile Product Manager with a primary focus on Firefox for iOS, while also contributing across mobile (including Android).
This role is about building a better browser, turning downloads into loyal users, and creating experiences that stand out. If you’ve shipped mobile apps, obsess over details that improve everyday use, and love turning user insights into real improvements, this is an opportunity to drive significant impact at Firefox.
What You'll Do
- Build a better browser experience: Fix bugs, refine UI and navigation, improve downloads, menus, performance, and all the details that make Firefox noticeably better for users who care about privacy, quality, and reliability.
- Drive activation and retention: Focus on the new-user journey, quickly hooking people after installation, identifying drop-off points, and relentlessly optimizing the funnel through data, testing, and iteration.
- Deliver differentiating features: Create sticky experiences for key user groups that competitors cannot or will not build.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with engineering, design, data science, and TPMs to ship high-impact improvements while balancing user needs, technical constraints, privacy, and performance goals.
- Stay connected to users: Track App Store trends, test apps hands-on, analyze reviews and analytics, and convert insights into concrete product enhancements.
- Monitor app health: Track metrics in App Store Connect and Google Play Console (crashes, ANRs, ratings) and support acquisition and retention via ASO, store listings, and growth experiments.
- Optimize for global markets: Adapt Firefox for international markets (Europe, Japan, Asia, etc.), accounting for cultural nuances and local realities like data constraints.
What You'll Bring
- Proven Shipping Experience: Hands-on experience launching or managing apps on the iOS App Store and/or Google Play Store, with measurable impact on user experience and metrics.
- Execution Focus: Track record of delivering features and improvements under deadlines through cross-functional collaboration.
- Mobile & Browser Fluency: Deep understanding of iOS (and ideally Android) ecosystems, app store policies, and web browser technologies.
- Data-Driven Iteration: Proficiency using analytics, funnels, A/B testing, and user feedback to improve activation, retention, and quality.
- User Obsession: Habit of studying apps, monitoring discussions on platforms like Reddit and X/Twitter, and testing experiences directly.
- Global & Growth Mindset: Interest or experience expanding products in international markets with sensitivity to local requirements.

- Experience with mobile browsers or privacy-focused products.
- History of meaningfully scaling an app’s user base.
