The Role

We're looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant and Personal Manager to be a true partner to our CEO. This is not a traditional EA role. You won't simply manage a calendar and field emails—you'll function as an extension of the CEO, anticipating needs before they're voiced and removing friction from both their professional and personal life.

Our CEO moves fast and isn't a natural delegator. The right person for this role doesn't wait to be told what to do—and, just as importantly, knows how to manage the CEO: keeping them on schedule, prepared, and on top of their commitments, and helping them prioritize the things that matter. You'll learn their preferences and patterns, then step in proactively to bring order to their day and make sure nothing slips, whether they ask or not.

This role spans the full picture: managing a complex professional calendar, coordinating personal commitments and household logistics, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks across either.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and orchestrate the CEO's calendar across both work and personal life: scheduling, prioritizing, resolving conflicts, and protecting their time from competing demands.
  • Keep the CEO on track—making sure they're where they need to be, prepared for what's next, and on top of their commitments and deadlines.
  • Manage personal and household logistics—appointments, travel, family commitments, and the day-to-day details that keep life running smoothly.
  • Coordinate complex travel across time zones, including itineraries, accommodations, and last-minute changes.
  • Serve as a trusted gatekeeper and first point of contact, handling sensitive communications with discretion and executive-level polish.
  • Prepare the CEO for what's ahead: briefing them on meetings, surfacing what matters, and ensuring they walk in ready.
  • Track commitments and follow-ups so nothing slips, across both business and personal spheres.
  • Handle confidential information with absolute discretion.

Requirements

  • Proven experience supporting a senior executive, ideally a tech CEO or founder, in a high-trust, high-autonomy capacity.
  • Exceptional anticipation and intuition—you read between the lines, spot needs early, and act before being asked.
  • A natural organizer of other people—you know how to keep a busy, fast-moving executive on track without being heavy-handed.
  • Comfortable operating autonomously and making decisions on someone else's behalf; you bring structure to people who don't naturally delegate.
  • Executive-level written and verbal communication; you can represent the CEO credibly to anyone, internally or externally.
  • Genuinely comfortable blending professional and personal support, with sound judgment about how to manage both.
  • Impeccable discretion and a track record of handling confidential matters with care.
  • Highly organized, calm under pressure, and able to juggle competing priorities without dropping details.
  • Flexible and responsive—you understand this role doesn't always fit neatly into 9-to-5.

Note: This role is based in our Amsterdam office and requires five days per week on-site for the first three months. After that, a more flexible work-from-home arrangement can be discussed, with a minimum of three days per week in office.

Perks & Benefits

  • Comprehensive health & wellness benefits
  • 20 days PTO per year, plus 8 floating holidays
  • Team off-sites in stunning places (Amsterdam, Italy, etc.)
  • Competitive compensation & equity
