About OpsLevel

OpsLevel is the agentic delivery engine designed to help dev teams build, ship, and maintain software better than ever. The way software gets developed and delivered is changing rapidly, and OpsLevel provides the context and guardrails that human and agent developers both need to navigate their world. Engineering teams at companies like Okta, Keller Williams, Nerdwallet, and Zapier run on OpsLevel.

We are a fully-remote team across North America. OpsLevelers live our company values daily: when we're not heads-down on a project or collaborating in real-time over Zoom, we're competing in trivia over lunch or sharing photos in #pets-to-make-you-live-longer.

Our Values

  • Growth Mindset: Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
  • Focus & Efficiency: Keep the main thing the main thing, and get it done.
  • Empathy: Think of others; think of your users.
  • Intellectual Honesty: The best solution is more important than anyone's ego.
  • Simplicity: Don't overthink it.

About the Role

We're looking for an ambitious marketer with startup experience—someone who has seen the pieces of a marketing function up close and is ready to run one solo.

This is a major growth opportunity. The person in this seat will start by owning content, campaigns, and demand gen day-to-day. As you prove you can run the function, there is a clear path to taking on full ownership of marketing at OpsLevel and partnering directly with the executive team on strategy.

We're looking for someone who is both creative and analytical: someone with a sharp sense for brand and design who is just as comfortable in the numbers—understanding the funnel, what's converting, and why.

What You’ll Do

Product Marketing

  • Own our messaging: what OpsLevel does, who it's for, and why we win against alternatives. Keep it consistent from the homepage through to the sales pitch.
  • Take each release to market, including launch plans, release notes, customer communications, and collaborating with Product on related content.
  • Own competitive positioning and sales enablement materials: comparisons, objection handling, and pitch content.
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success to translate market insights into sharper positioning, content, and product feedback.

Demand Gen

  • Plan and run multi-channel campaigns across paid ads, email, social, webinars, and events.
  • Own the funnel: monitor prospect conversion paths, identify drop-off points, and implement fixes.
  • Manage the marketing tech stack and lead flow: HubSpot/Salesforce, attribution, lead routing, list hygiene, MQL definitions, and handoffs to sales.
  • Run structured experiments using our experimentation framework (hypothesis, goal-setting, test execution, analysis, course adjustment, and weekly iteration).
  • Partner with sales and leadership on demand gen strategy and report performance metrics clearly across the company.

Brand & Content

  • Own OpsLevel's brand voice across the website, social media, and content.
  • Manage the social presence and content calendar: planning, writing, and publishing.
  • Produce content supporting the buyer's journey, including blog posts, case studies, one-pagers, and campaign copy.
  • Drive search visibility across traditional SEO and AI answer engines (AEO), ensuring content ranks and gets cited in platforms like ChatGPT or Claude.
  • Keep website and landing pages current, aligned with messaging, and optimized for conversion.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience marketing to an engineering/developer audience.
  • Breadth across the marketing function with deep ownership in at least one key area (product marketing, demand gen, or brand & content).
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and refine strategies.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
  • AI native mindset: active daily use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, image-generation tools) and enthusiasm for testing new workflows.
  • Proven ability to operate independently, self-direct, and execute from loose direction.
  • Keen design sense and high standards for brand presentation.

Nice-to-Have

  • Hands-on experience running paid ads on Google, LinkedIn, or Reddit.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, and modern marketing SaaS tools.
  • Experience supporting marketing efforts for in-person events or conferences.
  • Experience producing podcast, video, or multimedia content.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Market-leading salary and equity options based on experience and skillset.
