About the Role

Oyster's Go-To-Market (GTM) organisation is scaling fast, with an ambitious growth agenda that spans new markets, new products, and a step-change in brand and execution. The Chief Revenue Officer needs a strong partner to help the GTM leadership team turn that agenda into disciplined, connected, day-to-day execution.

As Business Manager for the GTM org, you will sit close to the CRO and work directly with the VPs of Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps to keep the organisation running smoothly, moving quickly, and pulling in the same direction. You will be equally comfortable in the detail of an operating cadence and in the judgement calls of a cross-functional strategic project—taking real ownership of outcomes, not just process.

What You'll Do

  • Translate Strategy into a GTM Plan: Support GTM leadership in turning company strategy into actionable OKRs and key initiatives across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and RevOps.
  • Drive the Operating Rhythm: Build and run GTM leadership meetings, business reviews, planning cycles, and QBRs to track progress, sharpen next steps, and ensure follow-through.
  • Speed Up Execution & Remove Silos: Connect the dots between functional teams, diagnose friction or broken handoffs, and broker pragmatic, fast resolutions pushing decisions to delivery.
  • Own Strategic Internal Communication: Serve as connective tissue between leadership priorities and the wider GTM team. Shape strategic updates, all-hands content, and feedback loops.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Growth Projects: Take direct ownership of high-stakes cross-functional initiatives for the CRO—scoping, resourcing, running, and reporting on outcomes end-to-end.
  • Collaborate Beyond GTM: Represent GTM needs across Product, Engineering, Finance, Customer Experience, and People teams, resolving cross-org dependencies early.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–8 years of experience in business operations, chief of staff, strategy consulting, or a similar cross-functional operating role within a GTM organisation (Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, RevOps).
  • Tech GTM Expertise: Comfortable with GTM terminology, metrics, and how a modern revenue organization operates.
  • Strategic Rigor: Background in strategy consulting or similar analytical training is a strong plus.
  • Executive Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of influencing, challenging, and aligning VP- and C-level leaders without formal authority.
  • Program & Project Management: Exceptional ability to manage complex, ambiguous initiatives simultaneously and drive them to completion.
  • Clear Communication: Ability to translate complex strategies into concise, engaging narratives for various internal audiences.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and fully distributed remote work environment.

What Success Looks Like in the First Year

  • The GTM leadership cadence runs tightly, with decisions reliably translating into execution.
  • At least one major cross-functional growth project is scoped, delivered, and produces measurable impact.
  • A visible reduction in cross-team bottlenecks and misaligned priorities across GTM functions.
  • GTM communication is trusted and structured, resulting in greater clarity across the entire organization.
