As a key member, the Manual QA Tester will work closely with product managers, developers, and QA engineers to test new features, identify bugs, and help ensure a smooth experience across our platform. You’ll play a key role in validating product changes before they reach customers. This role offers growth opportunities as our QA team expands.
This is a 100% Remote position - now & forever.
What You’ll Do
- Execute manual test cases for new features, bug fixes, and regression testing
- Review product requirements and acceptance criteria to identify test needs
- Perform exploratory testing to catch edge cases and usability issues
- Report bugs clearly in Jira with detailed reproduction steps and screenshots
- Collaborate with the development and QA team during sprints
- Help maintain and organize test documentation and checklists
- Provide feedback to improve testing workflows and coverage
What You’ll Bring
- 1–2 years of experience in manual QA testing, preferably on web applications
- Familiarity with agile development practices (Scrum or Kanban)
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical testing mindset
- Experience using Jira or similar issue tracking tools
- Basic understanding of how browsers, APIs, and client-server applications work
- Clear written and verbal communication, especially in documenting test results and bugs
Bonus Points
- Experience testing SaaS or B2B products
- Familiarity with test case management tools like TestRail or Xray
- Exposure to browser developer tools and tools like Postman
- Interest in learning automation tools in the future (e.g., Playwright, Cypress)
- Experience with NoSQL databases
- Experience with logging tools like Sentry
