
RainFocus is searching for an exceptional Integration Specialist to join our growing team. We serve Fortune 500 companies like Adobe, Cisco, IBM, Oracle, and VMware to prepare and execute in-person, virtual, and hybrid events through our industry-disrupting software platform.
About the Role
As an Integration Specialist, you are responsible for the implementation of integration products. Integrations use our APIs to extract data from the RainFocus platform, or customer APIs to send data to us. This includes data transfers with third-party vendors such as Zoom and media platforms, as well as supporting Single Sign-On (SSO) through client websites.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Work within the Global Integration Team alongside implementation teams to deliver and support integration requirements for RainFocus products.
- Partner with Project Managers and Solution Consultants to understand goals and complete tasks on time and within budget.
- Assess, design, and develop integrations meeting customer requirements and assist services teams with integration discovery and scoping.
- Lead internal and external meetings with customers and vendors.
- Manage integration timelines, including notifying clients of changes to task dates or assigned resources.
- Lead requirements sessions to discover integration needs, architect integrations, and complete the integration build.
- Provide direct technical client support.
- Create design documents, test cases, and perform unit testing.
- Document integration elements prior to transitioning the integration to support.
- Provide after-hours support when needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1+ year of experience working with enterprise clients.
- 2+ years of experience working with REST APIs and familiarity with JSON.
- 3+ years of experience in a Professional Services consulting environment.
- Experience with integrations for Salesforce and Adobe Analytics.
- Familiarity with API tools such as Postman, Swagger, and SSO.
- Familiarity with Google Chrome development tools.
- Understanding of web analytics and the ability to comprehend JavaScript.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, problem solve, improvise, and function as part of a team.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to tackle obscure problems using outside-the-box thinking when resources are limited.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Certifications or expertise in Salesforce, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Marketo, SSO, and other marketing and events platforms.
Location & Travel
This is a remote opportunity with up to 15% travel required. Travel involves being onsite at client events (which may include weekends), postmortems, and client-driven meetings.
