Snapdocs is transforming the $14 trillion U.S. mortgage market by building workflow software and AI-driven automation that connects lenders, settlement teams, notaries, and investors. Currently powering 20% of all real estate closings in the country, Snapdocs is backed by Sequoia, Y Combinator, and F-Prime.
We are hiring a Principal Product Manager to own our Quality Control product area.
The Role
You'll lead product direction for Quality Control, from discovery through release and post-launch learning. Snapdocs PMs operate like GMs, owning strategy, roadmap, pricing, and go-to-market for their product area. Youβll work cross-functionally with Engineering, Data Science, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ship technically sound and commercially viable products.
Key Responsibilities
- Set product direction for Quality Control from customer discovery through release and post-launch evaluation.
- Deeply understand how lenders review closing documents and identify workflow bottlenecks.
- Separate broad customer needs from one-off requests to make clear product trade-offs.
- Partner with Engineering and Data Science on technical requirements, trade-offs, and delivery.
- Provide clear guidance on product decisions to Implementation, Customer Success, and Sales teams.
- Track post-launch results using customer feedback and usage data to iterate on the roadmap.
- Leverage AI tools for routine research, synthesis, and drafting while ensuring rigor in decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience owning a B2B software product through discovery, delivery, and post-launch evaluation.
- Strong product judgment with the ability to distinguish scalable needs from one-off client requests.
- Experience making decisions with incomplete information and articulating the evidence behind choices.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Engineering, Sales, Implementation, and Customer Success.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex workflows.
- Hands-on experience using AI in product workflows (research synthesis, drafting, routine analysis).
- Preferred: Experience in the mortgage or title industry.
