About TheyDo
Every company wants to become more customer-centric. At TheyDo, we make that ambition real. Our AI-powered journey management platform helps the world’s largest enterprises align around what matters most: their customers. By bringing scattered data and teams together, we empower smarter decisions and better experiences. Since 2019, global leaders across industries—including Ford, Cisco, Johnson & Johnson, Siemens, Home Depot, and Lufthansa—have trusted us to scale journey management and deliver measurable impact.
Backed by $50M from top-tier investors, including Blossom and 20VC, we are building a category-defining company. Our fully remote team of 100+ TheyDoers represents 30+ nationalities across 27 countries, united by a customer-led, people-first culture.
Our mission is clear: Make journey management the most powerful business tool in the world.
The Role
Journey management is becoming a must-have for the world's biggest companies, and TheyDo is the platform leading the category. Enterprises like Ford, Cisco, Vodafone, and Pfizer already use TheyDo to understand their customers end to end and decide where to act.
Now we're going after the rest of Europe's biggest brands. As a Senior Account Executive, you'll take a greenfield territory of enterprise accounts in the Benelux region, open doors, and land new logos that define TheyDo's next chapter. You will work remotely in the Benelux, joining a team of 6 EU AEs and supported by SDR, Enablement, and Customer Success colleagues across North America and Europe.
What You'll Do
Build Your Own Pipeline
- Own a named list of Benelux enterprise accounts and decide where to focus based on signal rather than hope.
- Source the majority of your pipeline yourself through outbound, account-based plays with BDR and Marketing teams, events, and executive networking.
- Break into cold accounts and engage senior leaders who own the customer experience problem.
Win the First Deal
- Run complex, multi-stakeholder cycles from initial discovery and business case creation to procurement, legal, and close.
- Sell on value to C-level and VP buyers across CX, Product, and Digital—crafting business cases signed by CFOs.
- Land mid-to-high six-figure first deals structured for expansion, seamlessly onboarding Customer Success with deep account context.
Shape How We Win
- Refine our ICP, messaging, and sales motions based on real-time field insights.
- Partner with Product by sharing actionable buyer feedback.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and keep the team aligned through clear, asynchronous updates.
What This Role Isn't
- It isn't account management: You won't inherit renewals or an existing install base. Closed revenue comes from net-new logos.
- It isn't inbound-led: While Marketing and SDRs will support you, you are expected to generate most of your own pipeline.
- It isn't a finished machine: If you need a fully mature enablement program and years of territory data, this may not be the right fit. If you want to help author the European playbook, you will thrive here.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years closing B2B SaaS deals, predominantly in enterprise new-business hunter roles.
- A proven track record of exceeding annual quotas where the majority of closed revenue came from self-sourced net-new logos.
- Demonstrated success landing mid-to-high six-figure first deals with enterprise clients.
- Experience selling platform or category-creation solutions, creating market demand rather than responding to RFPs.
- Active application of value-selling methodologies (MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or similar).
- Comfort leading conversations with C-level stakeholders, driving consensus across complex organizations, and navigating enterprise procurement and security processes.
- Excitement about working from a blank target list within a high-velocity scale-up environment.
- Bonus: Experience selling directly to CX, Product, Digital, or Design leadership.
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation and pre-IPO equity: Ownership through our stock package.
- Fully remote working with flexible hours: Autonomy and flexibility across a distributed organization.
- Health insurance benefit: Tailored health and wellbeing coverage for every employee.
- Flexible paid time off: Minimum 25 days paid holiday per year (pro-rata), public holidays, plus an extra 3-day company-wide winter shutdown.
