About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our new Prepaid Cards team. Prepaid cards are one of Tremendous's largest catalog categories, already processing millions of cards a year. We're expanding into new card types and new countries, and we need a PM to own it.
What you’ll do
- Own prepaid cards end-to-end: Serve as the sole PM for our prepaid cards product area, including our US program processing millions of digital and physical cards annually. Manage the full cardholder journey, issuance at scale, fraud prevention, and lifecycle management while launching new programs.
- Work across technical systems and partners: Collaborate closely with banks, card networks (Visa, Mastercard), processors, wallet providers (Apple Pay, Google Pay), and internal stakeholders.
- Manage product roadmap: Work with stakeholders to define priorities, resolve ambiguity, and determine what to build and when.
- Frame up problems: Clearly explain what problems we are solving and why to empower engineers and designers.
- Conduct research and analysis: Collect supporting evidence through user interviews, market research, and competitive analysis.
- Collaborate asynchronously: Thrive in Tremendous's async, non-meeting culture.
- Drive decisions: Persuade stakeholders with a light touch and report back on post-ship impact.
What you’ll bring
- 6+ years building and shipping web applications as a designer, engineer, or PM at tech companies.
- 2+ years as a PM in startup environments (ideally growth-stage).
- Experience with card products (prepaid, debit, credit, or similar).
- Strong product intuition, design judgment, and technical fluency.
- Ability to translate long-term strategy and a big feature backlog into actionable roadmaps.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for a documentation-first culture.
- Comfort making decisions without perfect information and taking initiative.
What's cool about the role
- Competitive pay and equity: Base salary range from $225,000 to $300,000.
- Real benefits: 100% covered health (US), unlimited PTO, 12-16 weeks paid parental leave.
- Fully remote: Work from anywhere in the Americas.
