turbopuffer is looking for a Customer Engineer to help our customers succeed.
What You'll Do
- Debug customer issues and optimize queries.
- Write examples for our documentation.
- Live in customer Slack channels, helping to solve problems.
- Own customer outcomes.
Must Have
- Typist: You can write well and can explain complex ideas simply.
- Linux: You're comfortable in terminals and reading logs.
- Python or JavaScript/TypeScript: For reproducing issues and building solutions.
- Human: You build trust and keep things productive when everything's on fire.
- Systematic: You methodically work through problems until you've found the root cause.
Nice to Have
- Kubernetes (k8s) experience.
- Vector search or full-text search background.
- Experience with the major cloud platforms.
