
This is a fully remote role within the United States.
We're looking for a driven Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Transactions team and help eliminate the financial complexity of healthcare.
As a Senior Engineer, you will own meaningful work end to end with high impact and visibility. This role requires someone who can operate across the stack, building features and being product-focused.
Responsibilities
- End to end delivery of new features from problem definition and technical design through implementation and deployment.
- Work across the stack, building APIs, data models, pipelines, integrations and UI as needed.
- Contribute to a small, high-performing team through shared ownership, authoring high-quality code and raising the bar for how we build.
- Drive technical discussions, surface risks early and communicate progress of your work.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to iterate on critical user flows.
What you'll bring to the role
- 5+ years professional experience with Python
- Proficiency with modern front end frameworks such as Vue or React
- Strong experience building and shipping production systems on a modern Python stack
- Proven track record of shipping complex, customer-facing features from concept through production
- Strong command of SQL with experience designing and optimizing schemas and queries for non-trivial data problems
- Product-minded approach: you care why something is built and whether it made an impact
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field
