Yuno is a global orchestration platform for payments and fraud prevention, streamlining how merchants handle online transactions. We are looking for an Engineering Manager - Money and Risk to lead engineering initiatives in our core financial and risk domains.

Role Overview

In this role, you will lead a team of talented software engineers building scalable, secure, and reliable systems for money movement, reconciliation, and risk management. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy, partnering closely with product and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing software engineers.
• Drive the technical roadmap and execution for money and risk engineering domains.
• Ensure high availability, security, and compliance standards for critical financial systems.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, and Operations teams to deliver robust features.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and accountability.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or technical lead in a high-growth tech environment, preferably within fintech, payments, or banking.
• Strong background in software engineering with hands-on experience building distributed, scalable backend systems.
• Experience managing teams working on complex financial transactions, ledger systems, or risk/fraud detection platforms.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with a track record of hiring and retaining top engineering talent.
• Fluent in English with the ability to work in a remote-first European environment.
