About the Role

Appfire is seeking an experienced full-time Senior Data Analyst to join our central data insights team. You will be a key player in activating company-wide data, designing analyses, and partnering with stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Stakeholders: Translate complex, ambiguous business questions into clear analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.
• Analyze Performance: Evaluate customer, product, partner, and financial data to identify key drivers, trends, and opportunities.
• Deep Dive Analysis: Conduct exploratory and ad hoc analyses to uncover growth and optimization opportunities.
• Develop Frameworks: Define and evolve business metrics to create a consistent view of performance across the organization.
• Build Solutions: Create scalable data models, dashboards, and analytical solutions for self-service decision-making.
• Collaborate: Work with Analytics Engineering to improve data quality, usability, and accessibility.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with large, complex datasets.
• Strong experience with dbt or a comparable data transformation framework.
• Proficiency in BI and visualization tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau, Looker).
• Ability to structure ambiguous questions and translate findings into clear recommendations.
• Experience partnering directly with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience analyzing B2B SaaS business models, customer journeys, and recurring revenue.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), Sigma, or Salesforce data.
• Experience using AI-assisted analytics tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor).
• Experience in a global, remote-first software company.
