What's This Role About?

As a Business Development Representative, you will play an integral role in Auvik’s success and growth. You will use your energy, smarts, resourcefulness, and charisma to develop sales opportunities. Excelling in this role offers a clear growth path to an Auvik Account Executive position.

What Will I Be Doing?

You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, researching, and warming up prospective buyers for our network management software. Your daily focus will include:

  • Researching and developing business intelligence for new and existing accounts.
  • Conducting high-level conversations with senior executives.
  • Delivering compelling explanations of Auvik’s capabilities to prospects.
  • Achieving your monthly quota of qualified opportunities and meetings attended.
  • Evangelizing Auvik’s network management software.
  • Generating new business opportunities to fuel Auvik’s growth.

Hiring Process

Our hiring process at Auvik is personal, transparent, and human-led. Our Talent Acquisition Partners review all resumes, connect with aligned candidates, and maintain communication throughout your journey. If our interests align, you'll meet with a hiring manager and additional team members via Zoom.

Before meeting with a hiring manager, candidates complete a 5-minute Predictive Index (PI) assessment to help us understand your strengths and work preferences.

We use AI tools for administrative tasks like sourcing candidates, drafting communications, and interview summaries, allowing our team to focus on conversations. We do not use AI for interviewing, screening, assessing candidates, or determining who moves forward. We believe hiring requires judgment augmented, not replaced, by AI.

Compensation Details

Auvik's compensation philosophy is market competitive, performance-rewarding, equitable, and transparent. We have defined job levels and compensation ranges for each market, based on regular market data research.

The hiring range for this position is listed below. Compensation offered is based on factors including job-related skills, knowledge, and experience, which may cause your compensation to vary within the outlined range.

In addition to cash compensation, all full-time employees are granted stock options. Auvik employees are eligible for comprehensive health and dental benefits, a Wellness spending account, GRSP matching, flexible paid time off, paid parental leave, and remote working subsidies.

Salary Range: $42,500 CAD

OTE (On-Target-Earnings) Range: $61,000 CAD
