About Bestow
Life insurance is one of the world's most important products. It's also one of the hardest to build, distribute, and modernize. Bestow exists to change that.
Bestow is a leading vertical technology platform serving some of the largest and most innovative life insurers. Our platform unifies the fragmented, legacy value chain, enabling carriers to launch products in weeks instead of years. Carriers choose us to scale and operate at unprecedented speed, powered by AI and automation.
Backed by leading investors (Goldman Sachs, Hedosophia, NEA, Valar, 8VC) and trusted by major carriers, Bestow is powered by a team that moves with precision, purpose, and heart.
About the Team
BizOps at Bestow runs cross-functional initiatives that don't fit neatly on one team's plate, and we lead how the non-engineering side of the company adopts AI in its everyday work. Bestow is enterprise SaaS technology for life insurance carriers. We modernize everything from underwriting to policy administration for partners like Nationwide, Transamerica, and USAA.
This internship reports directly to the BizOps Lead and puts you in the room for real strategic work. You'll own pieces of the AI transformation program, build executive-level materials, and coordinate work across departments.
What You'll Do
- Build the AI context layer: Construct and maintain the knowledge base powering Bestow's internal AI tools, structuring information so teammates can find and use it effectively.
- Own knowledge management: Organize how BizOps captures decisions, documentation, and processes.
- Build executive-ready materials: Produce pitch decks and financial models for department heads and leadership.
- Train people on AI skills: Run enablement sessions and build guides to raise company-wide AI fluency.
- Coordinate cross-department initiatives: Track work across teams, maintain momentum, and flag potential blockers.
- Measure what matters: Define and track the adoption and results of AI initiatives.
Who You Are
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree, ideally targeting private equity, investment banking, consulting, or a strategy/operations career.
- Genuinely excited about AI and eager to explore how it transforms business operations.
- Comfortable with numbers, able to build financial models and turn analysis into clear recommendations.
- A strong communicator who writes clearly, builds clean decks, and simplifies complex ideas.
- Self-directed, capable of taking an ambiguous problem, breaking it down, and driving it forward.
- Organized and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Why This Role
