Senior Implementation Specialist - Procurement Solutions

Bluesight is seeking an experienced Senior Implementation Specialist to lead client implementations of Procurement Solutions, which includes CostCheck, ShortageCheck, and 340BCheck. This is a senior role on the Implementation team, suited to someone who has worked in hospital pharmacy purchasing or cost-savings optimization, and can bring that domain depth directly into how our customers configure and adopt Procurement solutions.

As a senior team member, you will manage complex implementations, act as a trusted advisor to pharmacy leadership, and mentor other Implementation Specialists.

Representative Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Procurement Solution implementation projects, including project kick-off, software and pricing/contract configuration, go-live, and training, while maintaining project timelines.
• Configure and validate data, system outcomes, workflows, and wholesaler/purchasing data feeds so customer performance is tracked accurately from go-live.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers before go-live, owning communications including weekly check-ins, ad hoc calls, and emails.
• Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously across customers with varied priorities, purchasing structures, and deadlines.
• Partner consultatively with customer purchasing and pharmacy teams to advise on best practices for pharmacy cost-savings optimization, 340B compliance, and GPO/contract alignment.
• Train customer stakeholders on the CostCheck savings methodology, 340BCheck compliance and audit workflows, and ShortageCheck medication tracking.
• Act as a liaison between the customer, wholesalers/GPOs, and Bluesight's Clinical, Product, and Engineering teams to facilitate technical and pricing configurations.
• Maintain up-to-date project plans, tickets, and documentation to ensure timelines stay visible and on track.
• Serve as a senior resource on purchasing- and cost-related questions, helping onboard and support other team members.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to support rollouts and build stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications & Skills

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, pharmacy, healthcare management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience aligned with hospital pharmacy purchasing, procurement, or pharmacy cost-savings optimization.
• 2+ years of project management and/or client-facing experience, ideally software implementation-related.
• Experience in the healthcare industry, ideally within hospital pharmacy or health-system purchasing.
• Strong financial and data analysis skills to assess savings performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently in dynamic environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the US as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong familiarity with pharmacy cost-savings programs, 340B program requirements, and group purchasing organizations (GPOs).
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credentials or ACE certification.
• Proficiency with Excel and SQL.
• Experience with EMRs/ADCs (e.g., Epic, Cerner) or purchasing/wholesaler platforms.
