Configuration Specialist - Businessolver

Businessolver is looking to add a Configuration Specialist to our team. The successful candidate will be relentlessly focused on the integrity and accuracy of data shared with carriers, ensuring that client employees have reliable access to their benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in raw materials review and validation.
• Ensure system configuration is completed in accordance with requirements documentation.
• Support key work process flows for Annual Enrollment, New Services Implementation, and Acquisitions and Divestitures system build requirements.
• Perform self-QA on all system build work.
• Establish and follow global process documentation, reporting any discrepancies.
• Touch base daily with internal partners on active projects and tasks.
• Accurately maintain capacity and productivity measurements through task updates.
• Review open tasks daily, prioritize work, and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Address escalated or global issues related to client system builds.
• Actively participate in training sessions on new system functionality and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of benefits administration plan configuration experience (required).
• Experience within the benefit administration industry is required.
• Strong SQL, MS Access, and Excel skills preferred.
• Strong analytical ability with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and creative problem-solving ability.
• Ability to compare large data sets, organize data, and summarize findings.
• Working knowledge of business processes, system development, and process improvements.
• Proficient in gathering business requirements, process flows, and use cases.
• Strong understanding of various technologies and platforms.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $47,000 – $74,000 / year (determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and internal equity).
• Incentive: Eligible to participate in the annual bonus incentive plan.
