Manager, People Analytics - Canonical

About the Role

The Workplace Engineering function sits at the intersection of traditional HR analytics and modern Product Engineering. We transform raw workforce data into a suite of "People Products" that drive high performance. You will report directly to the Global Head of Workplace Engineering, leading a squad of People Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and UX Designers to turn insights into strategic assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Disciplinary Leadership: Lead and mentor a specialized squad of data professionals and engineers.
• Product Ownership: Bridge the gap between HR and engineering, ensuring code reflects human behavioral intent.
• Strategic Insight: Move beyond descriptive metrics to predictive and prescriptive modeling (e.g., attrition risk, engagement analysis).
• Data Stewardship: Act as the "Translator-in-Chief," turning complex models into narratives and developing AI agents for real-time insights.
• Effectiveness Strategy: Leverage high-tech solutions to maximize human value and efficiency across the organization.

What We Are Looking For

• Background in data science, mathematics, or engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or JavaScript, plus SQL and data visualization tools (Superset, Tableau).
• Proven ability to lead teams and execute against complex roadmaps.
• Strong research methodology skills and the ability to translate business questions into objectives.
• Exceptional academic track record.
• Ability to travel internationally 2-4 times a year for company events.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with dbt, Airbyte, Ranger, Temporal, or Trino.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in Agentic Engineering, Product Management, or UX Design.
