About CareMessage
CareMessage is a social enterprise and the largest patient engagement platform for low-income populations in the United States. We deliver personalized health education and care coordination through text messaging β reaching patients where they already are, in the language they speak, at the moments that matter most. Unlike technology built for large health systems and adapted down, CareMessage is designed from the ground up for organizations serving low-income, historically marginalized communities.
Why Join Us
At CareMessage, our mission is clear: improve health equity for low-income populations across the United States. Every role connects directly to that purpose.
Our ideal team members:
- Deliver meaningful, measurable results
- Invest in their teammates and build trust
- Seek feedback and continually grow
- Stay steady and solutions-oriented in ambiguity
- Lead with integrity and responsibility
- Communicate with clarity and empathy
About the Role
As our Senior People Operations Business Partner, your job is coaching managers to build teams that do their best work. From hiring to developing, coaching, and offboarding, you partner with managers and teammates to ensure a successful journey. You are also someone teammates can approach directly for guidance regarding career progression, benefits, or sensitive issues.
You will report to our Director of People Operations and work cross-functionally across all departments.
What You Will Do

- Structure and facilitate calibration sessions driven by documented evidence.
- Maintain accurate and defensible promotion and performance records.
- Report on review cycle health, metrics, and areas for improvement.
Own Employee Relations Casework
- Manage cases end-to-end with discretion, fairness, and prompt resolution.

- By 90 Days: Independently lead the Performance Management Program and teammate lifecycle operations across all departments.
What You Will Bring
- Prior experience holding HR business partner or People Operations responsibility at multiple organizations, including employee relations casework.
- Proven ability to manage complete programs end-to-end with firm timelines and dependencies.
