Role Overview

As a Senior Partner Solutions Architect, you will be part of the Professional Services team within Customer Success, working in direct partnership with Chainguard's partner ecosystem—including system integrators, resellers, and technology partners. In this role, you will enable and empower partners to successfully implement Chainguard solutions and build secure software on behalf of their customers. What You'll Do

• Lead Technical Enablement: Drive enablement programs for partners, equipping their technical teams to successfully implement and adopt Chainguard Containers and Libraries for their customers.
• Strategic Partnering: Partner with alliances and channel teams (Partner Account Managers, AEs, SEs, and CSMs) to understand partner capabilities, pain points, and go-to-market motions to drive joint strategies and mutual growth.
• Technical Content Creation: Develop and maintain partner-facing integration guides, reference architectures, and best practices to enable partners to scale Chainguard implementations independently.
• Post-Sales Support: Assist partners in post-sales technical engagements, including co-delivery of implementations, architecture reviews, and escalation support for complex customer environments.
• Product Liaison: Act as the primary technical liaison between the partner ecosystem and Chainguard's Product and Engineering teams, conveying partner feedback to influence roadmap prioritization.
• Competency Building: Evaluate partner technical competencies, identify gaps, and design targeted enablement programs to close them.
• Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain partner-level architecture documentation, share best practices across Chainguard, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

What We're Looking For

• Post-Sales Experience: Minimum 4+ years of post-sales client-facing experience, preferably in a partner-facing technical role (partner engineering, alliances, or channel solutions architecture).
• Software Development: 8+ years of experience developing high-performance multi-tier applications with a strong working understanding of software engineering design concepts and practices.
• Container & Kubernetes Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized ecosystems.
• Ecosystem Knowledge: Deep understanding of partner ecosystems (SIs, ISVs, resellers, or technology alliances) and partner go-to-market motions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences from partner engineers to C-level executives.
• Scalable Program Design: Demonstrated ability to create scalable technical enablement content and programs for external audiences.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Location & Travel: Located in the US Eastern Time Zone with the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

• Base Salary: Up to $195,000 base salary + bonus + equity
