
About the Role
Cloudflare is seeking an EIAM (Enterprise Identity & Access Management) Business Enablement & Operations Intern for Fall 2026. You will join our Security team to help optimize IAM processes, including user provisioning and access controls, ensuring our security measures accelerate business operations while maintaining regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Execute a specialized 12-week security project to improve Cloudflare’s defensive posture.
- Develop and maintain user access review dashboards and associated metrics.
- Perform group analysis to document organizational group descriptions and ownership mandates.
- Provide analytical support for the implementation and strategic application of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, People, Engineering, and Finance teams.
- Present your project to the company and contribute to the Cloudflare blog.
- Work closely with a dedicated mentor for hands-on guidance.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Proficiency with Google Sheets (filtering, sorting, VLOOKUP, data manipulation).
- Familiarity with SQL for querying access logs and user tables.
- Understanding of roles, groups, permissions, and the principle of "least privilege."
- Ability to create clear, organized documentation using Google Docs and Wiki.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
- Critical thinking, curiosity, and a proactive, "security-first" mindset.
- Ability to commit to a 12-week internship.
- Requirement: Must be able to work in-office 3-5 days a week in Austin, TX.
