Why You'll Love This Role

Cribl is looking for a Head of Corporate Events to lead the team and strategy behind every high-visibility moment Cribl shows up for — from our global tradeshow footprint to the events that define our culture and reward our top performers. You'll own CriblCon, our annual Company Kickoff, and President's Club, alongside a 12-14 show global tradeshow calendar, all while leading a team of 4-5 and managing a multi-million dollar budget. This is a role for someone who thrives on scale and visibility: you'll be in the room with executives planning the moments that matter most, and on the ground making sure they land.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of 4-5 corporate events professionals, setting goals, providing coaching, and building a strong team culture.
  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of Cribl's tentpole events: CriblCon (user conference), annual Company Kickoff, and annual President's Club.
  • Set strategy and manage execution across Cribl's global tradeshow calendar (12-14 shows per year), ensuring consistent brand presence, executive engagement, and pipeline impact.
  • Own and manage a multi-million dollar events budget in partnership with the VP of Corporate Marketing and Finance, including planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Partner directly with executive leadership to plan and stage high-visibility moments; operate with confidence and composure under executive-level scrutiny and pace.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships across Comms, Brand & Creative, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, ProdEng, and Sales to ensure every event reflects Cribl's brand and supports broader GTM goals.
  • Establish and evolve event strategy, processes, and playbooks that scale as the company grows.
  • Manage vendor and agency relationships (venues, production, fulfillment, travel) and negotiate contracts to maximize budget efficiency.
  • Define and report on event success metrics: attendance, pipeline/revenue influence, employee engagement (Kickoff, President's Club), and budget performance.
  • Represent the events function in cross-functional marketing leadership discussions, bringing forward-looking planning and risk management to the table.
  • Note: As a remote-first company with work happening across many time zones, you may occasionally be required to perform duties outside standard working hours.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of experience in corporate events, field marketing, or event marketing, with a proven track record of leading global tradeshow programs and flagship company events.
  • 3+ years of experience directly managing and developing a team.
  • Experience owning and managing multi-million dollar budgets, including forecasting and cross-functional reporting with Finance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior executives, including comfort operating in high-visibility, high-pressure environments.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Marketing, Sales, and Executive stakeholders.
  • Experience planning and executing large-scale user conferences, internal company events (kickoffs), and incentive/recognition trip programs (President's Club) is a strong plus.
  • Excellent organizational, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
  • Willingness to travel to the majority of Cribl's global events (~40% travel).
  • A calm, decisive leadership style that keeps a team and a room steady when things get chaotic on-site.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $150,000 — $205,000 USD (dependent on geographic location, skills, knowledge, and experience)
  • Eligibility for the Cribl Corporate Bonus Program
  • Equity package
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) plan
  • Paid holidays and paid time off (PTO)
  • Fertility treatment benefit, short-term disability, and life insurance
