Company Operating Rhythm
At Deepgram, we expect an AI-first mindset—AI use and comfort aren’t optional, they’re core to how we operate, innovate, and measure performance. Every team member is expected to actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools, and even build your own into your everyday work.
A Partner Success Engineer is a hands-on customer success representative who drives joint adoption, solves hard technical problems, uncovers expansion, and owns a portfolio of strategic technology and business partners end to end.
Who You Are
You operate at the intersection of three competencies:
- Expert technical consulting — run demos, guide architecture discussions, troubleshoot integrations, and help partners deploy AI-driven solutions.
- Strategic partner management — build trust from individual developers up to CTOs, own the full partner lifecycle, and turn technical adoption into channel growth.
- AI-native operating model — AI is how you work, building systems to remove recurring work.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the technical advisor and strategic owner for a portfolio of strategic partners, engaging everyone from developers to CIOs and CTOs.
- Own the full partner lifecycle: onboarding, adoption, technical enablement, expansion, and advocacy.
- Drive joint adoption through live demos, workshops, architecture guidance, troubleshooting, and best-practice recommendations.
- Run discovery continuously to surface partner problems and translate them into actionable requirements for product and engineering.
- Identify and scope expansion (cross-sell, upsell, multi-product, co-sell) in partnership with Sales, and lead executive business reviews and joint planning sessions.
- Act as the voice of the partner internally, influencing roadmap and GTM strategy.
- Operate AI-first by default, building tools, agents, and workflows that eliminate recurring work.
What We’re Looking For
- Significant experience in technical, customer-facing roles (TAM, sales/solutions engineering, partner or enterprise CS, implementation, or support) at API-driven, developer-first, or AI companies (roughly 7+ years preferred).
- Track record blending partner or customer ownership with technical depth: solution design, hands-on troubleshooting, and commercial growth.
- Hands-on experience running demos, POCs, or technical workshops with enterprise partners or customers.
- Demonstrated success identifying and landing expansion in complex enterprise or partner accounts.
- Fluency discussing APIs, integrations, and developer workflows, and troubleshooting L1-style issues.
- Strong understanding of partner ecosystems and channel business models (resale, referral, integrations, co-marketing, co-selling).
- Experience engaging both technical stakeholders and executive buyers.
- Exceptional communication, influence, and relationship-building skills.
- An AI-native operating model with specific workflows that structurally depend on AI.
