Company Operating Rhythm
At Deepgram, we embrace an AI-first mindset. AI use and comfort are core to how we operate, innovate, and measure performance. We expect every team member to actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools, integrating them into their daily work. Success is measured by the effective application of AI to deliver results, and continuous learning and adaptation are key.
We move at the pace of AI, meaning change is rapid and your work will evolve quickly. This role is ideal for those excited by experimentation, adaptation, and constant learning, rather than a highly prescriptive 9-to-5.
The Role
Deepgram is seeking a Senior Partner Manager to own and grow our AWS alliance. AWS is our largest and most strategic partnership, encompassing co-sell, co-build, and co-market initiatives. This role is the third on the AWS alliance team, with a specific mandate to build enterprise relationships that drive revenue, focusing initially on healthcare and financial services.
You will collaborate with AWS field and specialist teams to drive joint pipeline through ACE and AWS Marketplace, and leverage AWS in Deepgram deals. Internally, you will work closely with our product, engineering, and sales teams to co-build on AWS services, enable our sellers, and ensure partnership needs are met.
This is a builder's role on a small, high-impact team. While our AWS relationship is strong, there's significant growth potential. You will also manage a portfolio of partnerships outside of AWS, with AWS remaining the priority.
We expect an AI-first working style, utilizing AI tools for research, account planning, content creation, analysis, and reporting.
What you'll do:
- Own and execute a co-sell number for the AWS partnership.
- Build and maintain senior relationships across AWS field and specialist organizations (Account Managers, Solutions Architects, Partner Managers, industry/GenAI specialists) within the enterprise segment, with an initial focus on healthcare and financial services.
- Source, register, and drive joint opportunities through ACE, ensuring pipeline hygiene and attribution.
- Transact through AWS Marketplace (listings, private offers, channel partner private offers), making it the default path for AWS-aligned deals.
- Integrate AWS into Deepgram sales cycles as a closing lever (funding, credits, solutions architecture, executive support).
- Collaborate with Deepgram product and engineering on integrations with AWS services and relay actionable partner/customer feedback.
- Execute joint go-to-market activities with AWS, including campaigns, webinars, events, and roadshows, managing MDF.
- Enable Deepgram sellers on working with AWS and educate AWS teams on Deepgram's value proposition.
- Develop a vertical motion in healthcare and financial services, creating joint use cases, reference architectures, messaging, and target account lists.
- Manage a portfolio of partnerships beyond AWS.
- Report on partnership performance, including pipeline, influenced revenue, and Marketplace transactions.
What you bring:
- Substantial, hands-on experience managing an AWS partnership at a technology company, including co-sell, ACE, AWS Marketplace, competencies, program mechanics, and the AWS field organization.
- A proven track record of carrying and hitting a number (co-sell, partner-influenced, or direct quota).
- Experience selling to or through the enterprise segment; healthcare or financial services experience is a strong plus.
- A builder mindset β experience establishing a partnership motion from scratch.
- Startup experience and comfort in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment; a self-starter who drives initiatives.
- Entrepreneurial instincts to identify opportunities, build internal cases, and execute.
- Technical fluency to engage in credible architecture conversations with AWS Solutions Architects and translate technical concepts for sellers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the presence to engage effectively with AWS and Deepgram executives.
- An AI-first working style, demonstrating daily use of AI tools to enhance research, account planning, content creation, and analysis.
- Proven cross-functional operational skills, able to drive work through product, engineering, sales, marketing, legal, and finance without direct authority.
It would be great if you also had:
- Location in Seattle.
- Experience at AWS or another hyperscaler, or managing a second hyperscaler alliance.
- Experience working with global and regional systems integrators on joint delivery.
- A strong understanding of AI, speech recognition, voice agents, or related domains.
- Fluency with Salesforce, AWS Partner Central, and Marketplace operations tooling.
