Senior FP&A Analyst - dscout

Dscout is currently hiring for an experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to report to the CFO and senior leadership. This individual will utilize quantitative and qualitative analyses of all operational aspects of the company to evaluate progress toward goals, map out future plans, consider economic and business trends, review past performance, and anticipate obstacles and potential issues with an eye toward forecasting future financial results.

What You Will Do at Dscout

• Create, update, and maintain financial models and detailed forecasts of the company's future operations.
• Assess and track overall financial health, primarily by using key financial ratios common to SaaS companies and marketplaces.
• Determine gross margin and net margin contributions of our products or product lines.
• Examine and evaluate the cost-efficiency of each department relative to the resources it consumes.
• Work with individual departments to prepare budgets and consolidate them into the overall corporate budget.
• Compare historical operating results against budgets and forecasts, performing variance analyses to explain differences and drive improvements.
• Identify opportunities for company expansion and growth; map out growth plans including capital expenditures and investments.
• Evaluate new investments or products through return on investment (ROI) analyses.
• Build monthly and quarterly reporting packages for the senior management team and the Board of Directors.
• Build strong relationships with peers and financial leaders across the organization.

What You Will Bring to Dscout

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in corporate FP&A functions, preferably in a SaaS industry setting.
• Experience utilizing NetSuite and Adaptive Insights.
• Previous financial modeling experience across a range of reporting focuses.
• Previous experience creating dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Proficiency with systems and experience with automation and/or process improvement.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner and provide regular updates.
