Consulting Architect - Search

About the Role

Elastic is seeking an exceptional Consulting Architect to join our Global Capability Center. This senior role is critical to the success of our global customers, focusing on the strategic design and hands-on implementation of the Elastic Stack with a focus on Search AI.

You will serve as a trusted technical architect and consultant, working with complex enterprise environments to translate business challenges into robust, scalable, and value-driven Elastic solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

• Strategic Delivery: Facilitate strategy, roadmap, design, and sizing workshops with clients.
• Technical Implementation: Lead end-to-end delivery of Elastic projects, including data modeling, query optimization, cluster tuning, and scaling.
• Innovation: Develop proof-of-concepts highlighting the value of the Elastic Stack, including GenAI and RAG implementations.
• Collaboration: Work across engineering, product, and sales teams to identify feature improvements, scope opportunities, and assess technical risks.
• Mentorship: Act as a mentor to team members while continuously accelerating your own technical skills.

What You Bring

• Certification: Active Elastic Certified Engineer certification is mandatory.
• Experience: 7+ years as a Consulting Architect, Senior Technical Consultant, or equivalent senior IT role.
• Domain Expertise: Proven experience in Enterprise Search, relevancy tuning, and high-throughput cluster management.
• Modern Tech: Experience in GenAI, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and vector embeddings.
• Technical Depth: Proficiency in Linux, networking, security, Docker/Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Programming: Experience with Python, JavaScript, or Go.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, whiteboarding, and stakeholder management skills.
• Travel: Ability to travel to client sites up to 20% of the time.
• Education: BS or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
