Principal Partner Value Engineer - Elastic

About the Role

Elastic is seeking a Principal Partner Value Engineer to drive the economic blueprint of our strategic ecosystem. You will sit at the intersection of Elastic, our strategic partners, and the end customer, articulating Elastic’s value proposition while co-creating unified market strategies.

What You Will Be Doing

• Dual-Value Architecture: Co-develop and articulate the joint "Elastic + Partner" value proposition, helping partners understand the ROI of building on or with Elastic.
• Ecosystem Collaboration: Partner with Global Alliances and Channel Sales to execute value delivery strategies for regional and global partners.
• Business Case & ROI: Lead joint business value reviews and create boardroom-quality business cases quantifying TCO and realized business impacts.
• Framework Creation: Scale the Partner Value Engineering practice by building repeatable tools and value calculators for GSIs, MSSPs, and Cloud Hyperscalers.
• Executive Presentation: Act as a trusted advisor to partner executives, delivering high-impact presentations on business transformation.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to integrate partner feedback into Elastic’s broader value strategy.
• Enablement: Conduct workshops to elevate discovery capabilities and value-based selling across internal and partner teams.

What You Bring

• Experience: 4+ years in Value Engineering, Management Consulting, or Partner Enablement.
• Partner DNA: Proven experience working within partner ecosystems (GSIs, RSIs, MSPs, or Cloud Providers).
• Value Selling Expertise: Expert knowledge of methodologies like MEDDPICC or Challenger; ability to build complex financial models.
• Strategic Skills: Strong analytical and financial acumen; ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple workstreams.
• Communication: Exceptional storytelling skills with a track record of influencing C-level executives.
• Location: Must be based in North America. Willingness to travel as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• OTE Range: $184,200—$291,400 USD (75/25 pay mix).
