Public Sector Account Executive — Brasilia, Brazil - Elastic

About the Role

Elastic is seeking a high-energy, mission-driven Public Sector Account Executive to drive net-new revenue and expansion within government accounts based in Brasília, Brazil.

In this role, you will own a strategic federal and public sector territory. You will build your own pipeline, communicate the Elastic Search AI value proposition to government stakeholders, and navigate complex procurement and deal cycles within a consumption-based cloud model.

What You Will Be Doing

• Own Your Territory: Develop and execute a proactive outbound strategy across public sector entities in Brasília, generating ≥ 50% of your booked opportunities.
• Deep Discovery: Uncover mission pains, business impact, and decision criteria using the MEDDPICC framework.
• Value Storytelling: Deliver tailored demonstrations mapping Elastic’s Search AI, Observability, and Security capabilities to government priorities.
• Deal Strategy: Construct formal close plans, manage complex procurement processes, and maintain 90%+ forecast accuracy.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and Channel Partners to accelerate deals.

What You Bring

• Experience: 5+ years of experience closing complex Enterprise/Public Sector deals in SaaS or cloud environments.
• Domain Expertise: Deep familiarity with Brazilian government procurement, budget cycles, RFIs/RFPs, and decision-making dynamics.
• Technical Fluency: Understanding of enterprise software ecosystems, including SIEM, XDR, APM, and Vector/AI Search.
• Methodology: Mastery of MEDDPICC or equivalent sales frameworks.
• Language: Native/Fluent Portuguese and professional proficiency in English.
• Location: Must be based in Brasília, Brazil.
