Public Sector Account Executive - SLED Tennessee / Mississippi

About the Role

Elastic is seeking a dynamic Public Sector Account Executive to grow our presence within State, Local government, and Education (SLED) accounts across Tennessee and Mississippi. You will empower government agencies by leveraging our Search AI Platform to unlock data potential and drive digital transformation.

What You Will Be Doing

• Drive Adoption: Lead the adoption of AI-powered search solutions within new Enterprise accounts and deepen engagement with existing Strategic accounts.
• Trusted Advisor: Position yourself as an expert, helping customers harness search analytics to turn data into actionable insights.
• Strategic Growth: Develop a comprehensive business plan using community, customer, and partner ecosystems to drive territory growth.
• Sales Execution: Proactively identify new business opportunities and navigate complex sales cycles.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Sales Hygiene: Maintain consistent and accurate sales forecasting using SFDC.

What You Will Bring

• 5-10 years of experience in technology sales, specifically in Enterprise Search, Log Analytics, Security, APM, or Cloud.
• Proven track record in SLED sales, specifically within Tennessee and Mississippi.
• Strong solution-selling skills with the ability to articulate technical value to diverse stakeholders.
• High energy, strong work ethic, and adaptability.
• Proficiency in SFDC for accurate forecasting.

Bonus Points

• Experience selling within an Open Source model.
• Preferred location: Nashville, TN or surrounding areas, or Mississippi.

Compensation & Benefits

• OTE Range: $226,500 – $358,300 (50/50 base/variable split).
• Equity: Eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.
