Public Sector Account Executive - SLED Texas

About the Role

Elastic is seeking a dynamic Public Sector Account Executive to grow our presence within State and Local Government (SLED) accounts in Texas. You will play a key role in empowering government agencies through innovative search technology and analytics, enabling them to unlock the full potential of their data.

What You Will Be Doing

• Drive the adoption of AI-powered search solutions within new Enterprise accounts and deepen engagement with existing Strategic accounts.
• Act as a trusted advisor, assisting customers in harnessing Elastic's search analytics to transform data into actionable insights.
• Nurture Open Source offerings while articulating the value of advanced commercial features.
• Identify and develop new use cases to showcase how Elastic’s solutions enable efficient and intelligent workflows.
• Collaborate across business functions to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Proactively identify new business opportunities and navigate complex sales cycles.
• Develop a comprehensive business plan using community, customer, and partner ecosystems to drive territory growth.

What You Will Bring

• 5-10 years of experience selling technology solutions (Enterprise Search, Log Analytics, Security, APM, or Cloud).
• Proven experience in State and Local Government sales, specifically within Texas.
• Strong solution-selling skills with the ability to articulate technical value.
• High energy, strong work ethic, and adaptability to changing environments.
• Consistent and accurate sales forecasting skills using SFDC.

Compensation & Benefits

• OTE Range: $226,500 – $358,300 (50/50 base/variable split).
