
About the Role
Elastic is looking for a Senior Salesforce Engineer to join our team. You will combine deep architectural intuition, clean coding, and sharp debugging skills with an AI-native workflow using tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex. You will dive into platforms like Salesforce and MuleSoft to elevate engineering practices and turn ambiguous business challenges into high-quality, reliable production solutions.
What You Will Be Doing
- Full-Stack Development: Design, build, and ship features end-to-end, including UI, APIs, business logic, and data models.
- AI-Assisted Workflow: Utilize tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot for scaffolding, refactoring, and testing while maintaining engineering rigor.
- Salesforce Expertise: Develop using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and Flows.
- Integration: Design and implement integrations using REST APIs and event-driven patterns.
- Innovation: Build agentic and AI-powered features to automate business processes.
- Ownership: Manage features through the full lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and production support.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in modern frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript) and backend development.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools and the ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code.
- Solid grounding in software design patterns, SDLC, Agile, Git, and CI/CD.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
