Sr. Solutions Architect - Enterprise Expand, West Coast (Presales)

About the Role

As a Solutions Architect at Elastic, you will serve as a technical authority and trusted advisor to our sales team, customers, partners, and the community. You will tackle complex business issues using the Elastic Stack, engage the regional community, and enable sales through our partners.

What You Will Be Doing

• Technical Leadership: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for accounts in your assigned territory.
• Customer Engagement: Develop a deep understanding of customer goals and articulate how Elastic offerings address their specific needs.
• Sales Enablement: Advise the sales team on effective positioning of Elastic products and support them from discovery to the technical win.
• Relationship Building: Craft and own value-based relationships at all levels within customer organizations.
• Community & Partners: Onboard and educate partners, and represent Elastic at meetups and conferences.
• Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of the customer to communicate needs and product gaps to engineering and leadership teams.

• Proven track record in a technical presales role with experience implementing technology to earn customer trust.
• Ability to articulate and sell the benefits of modern platforms and software.
• A passion for continuous learning and self-improvement.
• Strong influence and communication skills; ability to inspire groups of all sizes.
• Willingness to travel 30% within the region and occasionally internationally.
