The Role
We are looking for a strategic and commercially minded product leader who combines strong platform thinking with a focus on adoption and business value. As VP & GM: Product Platform, you will own the end-to-end success of Entersekt's platform components as a horizontal capability that other portfolio solutions build on and consume.
Success in this role is measured both by cross-portfolio adoption and penetration across the broader product portfolio, as well as the standalone quality of each platform component.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Strategy & Performance: Own the strategy, roadmap, and business performance for the Entersekt Platform, including Portal, Administration, Reporting, and Detection & Decisioning capabilities.
- Reusable Architecture: Set the product vision for how current and future platform components serve as reusable building blocks rather than siloed products.
- Adoption & Integration: Partner with peer GMs to establish explicit adoption targets across all portfolio solutions and systematically remove technical, commercial, or packaging blockers to uptake.
- Internal Enablement: Build the internal go-to-market motion for the platform, providing documentation, migration support, and success stories to ease adoption for other product teams.
- Trade-Off Management: Balance platform roadmap decisions against the competing needs of multiple consuming product lines, arbitrating trade-offs transparently.
- Financial & Value Modeling: Own the cost, investment, and value-capture models for the platform capabilities.
- Metrics & Quality: Define and track health metrics per component, including usage, reliability, performance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Leadership: Build and lead product management for platform components, partnering closely with engineering and design leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelorβs degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Commerce, or related discipline required; Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA or Master's) advantageous.
- Senior Product Leadership: 10+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Leadership, with significant experience in a senior product leadership role.
- B2B / SaaS Expertise: Proven track record owning product strategy, roadmaps, and business performance for complex B2B technology, SaaS, or platform products.
- Platform Scaling: Experience building or scaling shared platform capabilities consumed by multiple product teams or solution lines.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and align cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Technical Partnership: Proven experience partnering closely with Engineering leadership on architecture, integration, technical debt, and scalability decisions.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial and financial judgment with experience developing business cases and value-capture models.
- People Management: Proven leadership experience building, developing, and mentoring product teams.
Key Attributes
- Strategic & Systems-Minded: Able to connect customer, product, tech, and business considerations.
- Commercially Pragmatic: Balances long-term platform strategy with near-term portfolio needs.
- Outcome-Focused: Measures success through adoption, value creation, and measurable results rather than output alone.
