About the Role

The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for all nutrition-related aspects of care, working closely with family members to equip them with the skills needed to nutritionally restore their child. • Guide the process of exposure to fear/challenge foods.
  • Communicate meal plans and special nutrition-related concerns clearly to all team members, providing education on how to alleviate or resolve issues.
  • Present a united front by echoing the treatment team's directives in interactions with families.

  • Deliver evidence-based nutrition education to challenge irrational thoughts and beliefs around food, nutrition, weight, and shape.
  • Establish therapeutic relationships with families, including rapport building, boundary setting, and a working alliance toward treatment goals.
  • Maintain thorough documentation within Equip’s electronic medical record in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
