Senior Project Manager - EXUS

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our global delivery team as a remote worker. Reporting to the Head of PMO, you will be part of a highly motivated, diverse, and multidisciplinary team.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with customers throughout the preparation and implementation phases of software projects, providing both operational and technical support alongside a team of highly skilled professionals.

Role Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver technical projects from initiation to closure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, product, customer success, and operations) to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders, translating business requirements into actionable technical tasks.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies per project.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare progress reports for leadership (e.g., Steering Committee Meetings).
• Prevent and control scope creep by using change control processes.
• Track internal and external project metrics (On time / In budget / PnL / NPS).
• Continuously improve project management processes and tools.
• Lead the contracting process with customers who have chosen EXUS as a preferred vendor.
• Drive negotiations and maintain a hands-on management approach.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of work experience in software development projects, with 3+ years managing complex projects.
• Experience in banking or financial technology projects is highly appreciated.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects within scope, time, and budget.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously (e.g., managing 2 projects concurrently).
• Experience working with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid development methodologies.
• Open and transparent communication style, willing to surface and champion tough issues.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum) are a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% annually for global software implementations (when travel conditions allow).
