You’ll focus on building strong relationships with hiring teams, improving and standardizing coordination workflows, and supporting GitLab's goal of hiring a qualified, diverse, and motivated team in our all-remote, global environment.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate & Coordinate: Partner with Recruiters, hiring teams, and Recruiting leadership to understand and execute the hiring plan for each job requisition.
- System Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date hiring process information in the applicant tracking system (Greenhouse) and GitLab repositories.
- Interview Logistics: Manage candidate scheduling and act as the Recruiting Coordinator to organize interviews and keep hiring processes running smoothly.
- Candidate Communication: Ensure candidates receive timely, thoughtful, and engaging communication at each stage of the hiring process.
- Pipeline Monitoring: Help manage candidate traffic for all roles, monitoring pipelines and flagging issues or bottlenecks to the recruiting team.
- Offer Preparation: Create and stage employment contracts for candidates receiving offers on behalf of hiring managers and Recruiters.
- Onboarding Handoff: Partner with People Operations to create a seamless handoff for new team members joining GitLab.
- Brand Advocacy: Promote GitLab's values, culture, and all-remote approach in every interaction, acting as a brand ambassador.
What You’ll Bring
- Hiring Support Experience: Experience supporting end-to-end hiring processes in partnership with recruiters and hiring managers, ideally in a fast-paced or high-volume environment.
- ATS Proficiency: Skill using an applicant tracking system to schedule, track, and move candidates through interview stages; Greenhouse experience is beneficial but not required.
- Technical Aptitude: Proficiency with Google Workspace, scheduling tools, and a willingness to learn and use additional tools.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally with candidates and internal stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
- Organizational Strength: Demonstrated strength in organization, time management, and prioritization, with a consistent focus on meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build collaborative relationships with team members across time zones and functions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
- Growth Mindset: Interest in learning about talent acquisition and contributing to an inclusive hiring process that attracts a qualified, diverse, and motivated team.
- Values Alignment: Alignment with GitLab's values and comfort working in an all-remote, asynchronous environment, including flexibility in your working hours to support candidates and hiring teams across multiple time zones.
