
About the Role
As a Senior FP&A Analyst on the Corporate FP&A team, you will help keep GitLab predictable, well-capitalized, and aligned to its strategy. You will transform complex financial data into actionable insights for leadership, own critical company-wide planning processes, and maintain long-term financial models that inform executive and Board-level decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Revenue Planning: Lead revenue forecasting across core components, including annual recurring revenue (ARR), churn, and expansion.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and improve models, reporting, and analysis to support finance leadership deliverables.
- Process Improvement: Drive automation and AI-enabled analysis to streamline close and planning workflows.
- Cross-functional Partnership: Collaborate with accounting and compensation teams to support shared planning needs.
- Strategic Insights: Prepare clear commentary for CFO, board, and audit committee reviews.
- Scalability: Evaluate workflows to replace manual file management with scalable, automated solutions.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in corporate FP&A with ownership of revenue forecasting or financial modeling.
- Strong knowledge of SaaS revenue concepts (ARR, churn, expansion).
- Proficiency in building accurate, clear, and useful financial models.
- Experience with finance automation and curiosity about applying AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini) to improve analysis.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, asynchronous environment.
