Senior Solutions Architect - GitLab

About the Role

As a Senior Solutions Architect in GitLab's Central EMEA team, you will serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers. You will guide organizations through their digital transformation journeys by demonstrating how GitLab’s DevSecOps platform addresses complex technical requirements and business objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Technical Leadership: Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation to showcase the value of GitLab’s AI-powered DevSecOps platform.
• Evaluation Ownership: Drive the technical evaluation process, including solution design, Proof of Value (POV) initiatives, workshops, and technical components of tenders/audits.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Account Executives across Central EMEA to shape account strategies and drive revenue growth.
• Customer Advocacy: Build deep relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders, acting as the voice of the customer to Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
• Expertise Development: Maintain deep knowledge of DevSecOps, AI, and cloud technologies, creating reusable technical collateral and best practice guidance.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 8+ years in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, CI/CD workflows, and modern DevSecOps practices.
• Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control and CI/CD platforms.
• Cloud Literacy: Practical knowledge of cloud computing, deployment, security, and operations.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for both practitioners and senior decision-makers.
• Growth Mindset: A proactive approach to professional development and a passion for continuous learning in the AI and DevSecOps landscape.
