Solutions Architect - France

About the Role

As a Solutions Architect in GitLab's Southern Europe team, you will serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers in France. You will guide organizations through their digital transformation journeys, helping them understand how GitLab's DevSecOps platform addresses technical requirements and business objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Technical Leadership: Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation to demonstrate the value of GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform.
• Evaluation Ownership: Drive the technical evaluation process, including solution design, Proof of Value (POV) initiatives, workshops, and technical components of tenders/audits.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Account Executives to shape account strategies and support new customer acquisition and expansion.
• Customer Advocacy: Build deep relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders, acting as the voice of the customer to Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
• Expertise Sharing: Maintain deep knowledge of DevSecOps, AI, and cloud technologies, creating reusable technical collateral and best practice guidance.

What You’ll Bring

• 4+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar customer-facing roles.
• Proficiency in the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control and collaboration platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, deployment, and security operations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt technical messaging for both practitioners and executive stakeholders.
• Language Requirements: Fluency in French and English.
• Location: Must be based in France (ideally Paris or Lille region).
