Solutions Architect - MENA

About the Role

As a Solutions Architect in GitLab's MENA team, you will serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, helping them understand how GitLab's DevSecOps platform addresses technical requirements and business objectives. You will guide organizations through digital transformation journeys, owning technical evaluations, shaping solution architectures, and acting as the voice of the customer to internal product teams.

What You’ll Do

• Technical Leadership: Lead discovery, demos, and validation to demonstrate how GitLab’s AI-powered platform meets business needs.
• Evaluation Ownership: Drive the technical evaluation process, including POC/POV ownership, workshop design, and technical components of tenders and audits.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Account Executives to shape and execute account strategies for customer acquisition and expansion.
• Relationship Building: Deepen relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders to foster long-term advocacy.
• Advisory: Advise customers on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices.
• Feedback Loop: Serve as the voice of the customer to Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to inform roadmaps and positioning.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles.
• Proficiency in the end-to-end software development lifecycle and modern DevSecOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable CI/CD and source control platforms.
• Practical knowledge of cloud computing, deployment, and security operations.
• Strong technical communication skills with the ability to present to both technical practitioners and senior decision-makers.
• A proactive mindset toward continuous learning and professional development.
