Strategic Account Executive - MENA

About the Role

As a Strategic Account Executive, you will expand GitLab's presence across the MENA region by building trusted relationships with senior leaders at large organizations. You will guide customers through complex platform decisions, focusing on new logos and existing business growth. By utilizing a consultative sales approach, you will connect customer business needs with our AI-powered DevSecOps platform to improve developer productivity and reduce security risks.

What You'll Do

• Lead Strategic Accounts: Manage activity for large prospects and customers throughout the entire pre-sales and post-sales lifecycle.
• Develop Opportunities: Drive pipeline growth through prospecting, relationship building, and a deep understanding of customer business needs.
• Strategic Planning: Create account plans and proposals that align GitLab capabilities with organizational transformation goals.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with pre-sales, post-sales, support, and marketing teams to ensure successful product rollout and adoption.
• Voice of the Customer: Contribute feedback and product ideas to GitLab's public issue tracker.
• Reporting: Prepare activity and forecast reports, analyzing wins and losses to refine sales execution.

What You'll Bring

• Experience: Proven track record selling into large organizations and navigating complex enterprise sales cycles.
• Relationship Management: Ability to build and manage executive-level relationships with high ownership.
• Consultative Selling: Expertise in shaping proposals, presentations, and formal quotes.
• Communication: Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
• Technical Familiarity: Understanding of Git, software development tools, application lifecycle management, or security tools.
