Senior Observability Architect - Grafana Labs

The Opportunity

At Grafana Labs, we’re redefining what post-sales technical partnership looks like. As an Observability Architect, you will be the technical owner of long-term customer success, guiding the implementation of complex observability solutions across modern infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of Grafana customers.
• Design the observability maturity journey of customers and assist them on that path.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting, health checks, and guidance to drive adoption.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and execute technical roadmaps.
• Identify opportunities for clients to optimize costs and expand their use of our solutions.
• Act as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for needs and feature requests to Product and Engineering teams.
• Conduct training sessions, workshops, and develop technical documentation.
• Own the customer lifecycle in partnership with Engagement Managers.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Located in Melbourne or Sydney, Australia.
• 5+ years of experience in technical support, TAM, consulting, or professional services.
• Strong understanding of observability solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki are a plus).
• Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Math, or equivalent experience.
